700+ Journal Prompts To Heal, Grow & Discover Yourself

There’s nothing like a juicy, multi-layered journal prompt to unlock fresh insights and write more deeply.

Journal prompts are life-savers for those days you need a little extra help. Or for those days when you need a new perspective on an all too-familiar repeating pattern.

Now I’ve been journaling for decades – and it’s helped me get over crippling self-doubt and anxiety.

And after all those years of writing, I can easily fill 3 pages of stream-of-consciousness writing every morning (I love my Morning Pages).

But I still sometimes get those days when I don’t know what to write about.

When I’m dealing with situations that are hard to process into words. Or when I’m just too unmotivated, frustrated or burnout to even pick up that Sharpie gel pen.

Dee sits in a garden writing with journal prompts over a patio table.

And that’s when I dig up my list of trusty journal prompts. I’ve organized them into categories by subject, purpose and time of year.

And this Type A approach does wonders when I need to quickly trouble-shoot a problem – or when I just want to spice things up with something new to write about.

If you’re staring at a blank page, here’s my ultimate list of 700+ journal prompts to heal, grow, discover yourself and more:
